The 1 year Anniversary Cake candle was lit and everyone raised their glasses to the achievements to date!

Massive massive congratulations to ‘Support the Boardwalk’ and especially to Linda Reohorn and all those who helped with the application to the SITA trust for funding… Our application was SUCCESSFUL!!!! The trust is supporting us with the full amount that was asked for. AWESOME AWESOME NEWS! Well done Linda! A fantastic £485 raised at Linda Harrison’s STB coffee morning!!! Thank you so much to all who came along and gave their support and especially to Linda Harrison for hosting and making all the amazing crafts and cakes. Hi All The link below has the details of the award and it may be nice to apply and see if we can get some recognition for tidying up the boardwalk – remember what a shambles it was when it was closed this time last year – and how fab it looks now! CARNIVAL BOARDWALK stall update : we raised £189 !! £80 on boardwalk planks, £27.45 on Harvey’s the dogs bucket collection , £69 on Linda’s aprons, bunting and greetings cards, and the rest , £11 or £12 was the guess the bear names .. What a superb effort! Thanks to those who manned the stall, special thanks to Linda for her handmade items and Jan & Harvey ;-)) keep having fun raising funds!

This baby magpie sat there (despite squeaky pushchair, toddler and dog) and posed for the photo this morning. Wonderful to enjoy the wildlife on the boardwalk. Has anyone else got a wildlife photo to share?
